It’s Comic Relief Red Nose Day ! #rednoseday2021
We have been dressing up as heroes today. We have had children dressing up as their own mum, dad or teacher! Many children in Year 4 dressed as their hero Lawrence. He is one of our pupils and he continues to be incredibly brave and inspirational in dealing with the challenges he faces.
We have also had some fun activities today- including egg and spoon races and numerous competitions using chopsticks, beanbags and hoops! We also had a whole school virtual assembly so we could all be together and make each other smile with our Red Nose Day jokes.
Money we have raised will go to helping organisations across the UK and around the world tackle important issues including homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse and mental health stigma, all of which have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
