Children have many opportunities to take part in wider community events, such as sporting competitions involving other schools, musical performances to audiences such as Christmas Carol Singing to raise money for charity. We have good links to local care homes who are the main recipients of donations from our generous parents for the annual school harvest festivals.
We organise regular fund raising events for a variety of causes each year and have raised substantial sums of money for local and national charities. Participation in community involvement outside of school is recognised and celebrated in the weekly assemblies.
Recent fundraising activities include:
raising an amazing final total of £1310.79 for Red Nose Day through a number of sponsored events and games.
raising £146.83 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital through Carol singing at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.
